Workshops & Classes
Our workshops and classes range throughout the whole of formal education and in community settings from single sessions, classes or workshops to residencies over several months, either concentrating on one art from or integrating them into major projects or performances.

Formal Education
Our formal education work ranges from early years to University programmes including those with special needs or emotional and behavioural difficulties. We have established links with a key number of educational organisations in the UK and Southeast Asia. We work across the whole arts related curriculum but also offer programmes that are cross curricular or look at specific issues.
Recent programmes have looked at issues related to personal freedom with rap artists in collaboration with Baby People, music workshops that investigated foreign language skills and ‘junk gamelan’ - making and playing music with scrap materials and looking at issues such as physics, sustainability and design.

Health Wellbeing
We run workshop programmes including music, dance and exercise for women with cultural or religious concerns, using creative activities within talking therapies in health settings and music making in hospital settings.
We also have undertaken research collaborating with Local Authorities, CCGs, Universities and Research and Ethics Committees on evaluating arts and health programmes.

Community
We work with the Southeast Asian community in the UK to promote and develop culture and heritage, deliver programmes and services to assist the SEA community and work in partnership with other organisations to assist the SEA community in the UK.
This currently includes a women’s gamelan group and an annual community festival at various locations around the East Midlands.
